ALA Hoosier Girls State is a week-long program designed to educate Indiana's young women in the duties, privileges, rights, and responsibilities of good citizenship. By getting involved in the process, ALA HGS delegates learn more about city, county, and state government in one week than they will in an entire semester of high school!

ALA Hoosier Girls State will begin its 83rd Session at Trine University in Angola, IN from June 22 - 28, 2025
This week has changed my life for the better, so much. The amount of excellent opportunities I was given in the program is so amazing. My counselors helped me through all my hard times, they helped me step out of my comfort zone, and they helped me, become me. I made so many kind-hearted friends that I can’t imagine my life without. Hoosier Girls State is an experience I will never forget.
